I live on the "Sunshine Coast" in England. Yes, that's right the Sunshine Coast in England - well it is all relative! Eastbourne is actually rather nice! Apart from the beach front, pier, shops, theatres, restaurants - there is the Marina (one of the biggest in Europe!) with more shops and restaurants. Nearby we have the wonderful walks across the South Downs and Beachy Head. Lovely old country villages (must visit Alfriston), and rambles through woods, and gently rolling landscapes. Lots of country pubs, and quaint shops. Do visit!
