Something that’s agreed upon by most of the SEO experts out there is the fact that content is king. All the top search engines want to provide their searchers with only the best results. It makes sense that the best websites will have the most informational, keyword rich (not stuffed), unique content out there. This means that every savvy online marketer should be investing the time and money into building up the content of their websites. One word of caution, though: avoid duplicate content at all costs.

It’s easy to get in the mindset that quantity over quality is better. In some ways, it’s true. After all, Google is not yet smart enough to detect if somebody is bsing their way through their articles they use for marketing. What Google can detect, though, is keyword stuffing and duplicate content. When Google senses a site is using duplicate content, whether throughout its own site, from others or from articles spread out over the internet-well, let’s just say Google’s not impressed. This greatly devalues the site by illustrating that it is not an authority on the subject because the information is duplicated.

Some website owners feel like their customers don’t need or want any more information. It sounds strange to say this, but that is irrelevant. It is not necessarily all about what the customers want (at least not in SEO practices.) It is instead about what Google wants. And Google wants information-lots and lots of unique information. Some products might be difficult to talk about for more than even a few sentences. Get creative. This is your chance to impress the search engines by making your site the site that is the most relevant, knowledgeable and appealing.

So if I have a website that sells salmon oil, instead of having a simple sales page and a simple FAQ page, think instead about all the content that can be created for this product. There could be blogs and articles written about the beneficial effects, where it comes from, how it is made, the history behind it and more. Whether my customers want to learn more about salmon oil or not, the information is there which will make the site look more credible to my customers and more importantly, to Google. So long as my pages and pages of content are unique and NOT duplicated, this should bode well for my SEO efforts.

In my previous post, we talked about not stuffing keywords. While keywords should not be packed into a website like sardines in a can, there is still a good place for them. After all, keywords are the number one way that the search engines know what products, services and information your websites are relevant to. The important thing to remember, though, is to choose the keywords carefully. Do some research and be realistic about the phrases you are relevant to and have a chance at ranking for. In other words, don’t pick general keywords-it is probably the worst attempt at SEO out there.

Let’s say, for instance, that you’ve got a site that’s all about babies. You sell baby bottles, diapers, clothes, toys and furniture. You sell baby headbands, medicine, blankets and photo albums. Basically, it’s all-things-baby. What you would not want to do is to pick a random keyword that millions upon millions of other sites are incorporating in their SEO strategy, such as ‘baby’. There are several reasons for this. Just because you have an online store that sells baby supplies like baby headbands based out of Oklahoma, which does not mean that someone in Oklahoma will find you by typing in the search term, ‘baby’.

Also, it’s not very specific. The fact of the matter is that when people shop online, they’re looking for specific items. So the keywords and keyword phrases should be specific. They should also be local, when applicable. If I’m looking for a baby crib, I’m going to type in baby crib and then the name of the city I live in. That’s why your keyword selection should be similar. Exactly what baby items on your blog do you want to sell the most of? What areas or demographics are you targeting? By deciding all of these factors as you pick your keywords for SEO, you’ll have much better success with your online marketing campaigns.

In SEO, specific is better-always better. This means that in SEO, general is bad-always bad. Pick the items you most want to rank for. These items should be your biggest sellers or the items with the highest search volume. Focus your SEO strategies and keyword phrases on those. By staying away from general keywords, you’ll undoubtedly have better marketing results.

Search engine optimization is a never ending race to the top of the search engines. There are millions and millions of websites trying to get to the top every day. Everyone from seasoned SEO professionals to novice, small time website owners are trying their best to figure out the search engine algorithms and be the first to break the code and get to the top. Unfortunately, many website owners are participating in spam practices to get to the top. The first rule of SEO, though, is not to spam.

Granted, it’s tempting. I mean, it makes sense that if I want my site to rank for the term ‘vacuum pumps’, that I should stick that keyword phrase in there as much as possible. Wouldn’t this show the search engines that my site is so much more relevant to vacuum pumps than other websites if I talk about them more? Maybe… in 1989. Today’s search engines are much smarter than that. In fact, today’s search engines can absolutely tell when you’re keyword stuffing-otherwise known as spam.

As a matter of fact, today’s search engines are so serious about their dislike of spam practices that they will not only NOT rank your website at the top if you use keyword stuffing (spamming) practices, but they may even penalize you. Google, for instance, literally has algorithms that detect for too high of density for keywords and will then drop the results even lower than had you not stuffed at all. That’s how important it is to NOT spam.

Keyword stuffing should not be done anywhere-period. It does not help. It hinders. People like to stuff keywords in their Meta tags, image alt tags, throughout all their website text, articles and even their blogs. This practice is outdated (understatement) and incredibly detrimental. Instead of stuffing keywords repeatedly, try to make your website flow. The more natural and useful your website is, the likelier it is to rank. Of course, there are several other SEO methods that should be used such as link building, article marketing, developing unique website content, etc. Look into those methods and leave the practices of keyword stuffing in 1989 where they belong.

WordPress is decidedly one of the biggest blogging platforms in the world today and you also need SeoPressor today! Even though it is not a free platform, the professional manner of this platform is what makes it more popular. And that is the reason why a lot of online business entrepreneurs are using WordPress. As a consequence of that, several tools have been released in the market today by which people can enhance the prospects of their WordPress blogs, and SEOPressor is one such tool. Being a new entrant into this genre, we felt it apt to check out SEOPressor and find out if it is really worth all the talk that is going on about it.

What we found out, after testing the product for both performance and efficiency, is that this is a product that’s well worth all the investment made in it. In any case, people are always looking out for the best possible search engine optimization for their business website, and the fact of the matter is that WordPress SEO cannot get any better than what SEOPressor can provide. If used correctly, SEOPressor won’t just bring a WordPress website to the top page of search engines but it will also bring it to the top of the top page. Results can be expected to figure within the top 3 on the first page.

Here we shall take a look at why SEOPressor can achieve that. It’s a fact that this is one SEO tool that works in a very different way from other similar products. Let us tackle these differences one after the other.

SeoPressor Analysis

SEOPressor depends on a factor known as the SEO Score for calculating the worthiness of a particular website. What it will do is it will take some parameters into account and decide whether a particular website will rank well on search engines or not. This score is a very unique aspect of SEOPressor and the best thing about it is that its results correspond exactly with what a superlative tool such as Google Analytics will show you.

SeoPressor Suggestions

SEOPressor almost dissects your WordPress website and tells you things about it—innermost details that if you pay attention to could improve the prospects of your website to an amazing degree. It will tell you, for instance, if your keyword is placed in the right position or not, and what a better position would be. It will tell you about what kind of format you need to use for your titles—H1, H2 or H3—and it will tell you how the graphics on your website are influencing the prospects of your website. SEOPressor doesn’t just tell you about your mistakes, but it will also tell you the solutions and will offer to do them for you as well. This is one software application that allows you to sit back and relax as it continuously keeps monitoring your website and tells you exactly what you need to do in order to bring up the ranking of your website.

The Newness Factor: SeoPressor

This is one thing to consider. The product is quite new, and even WordPress is continuously changing, which makes it definitely a good thing to be new. For instance, SEOPressor is already compatible with the new WordPress 3.0, something that most other WordPress search engine optimization tools on the Internet are still trying to come to grips with.

The Convenience

This is what made this tool a big hit in its initial days. Even now, after several modifications, the plug-in remains just as easy as it was earlier. There’s nothing you need to install; it is just a simple download that you have to do. Despite the program itself being very complex, you don’t need to be a technical whiz to figure it out. The developers have tried to keep their program as much self-driving as possible.

BUY TODAY

The Secret Algorithm
Since its release, people have wondered about how the results of SEOPressor can match so perfectly with the results of Google Analytics. Only recently was it announced that SEOPressor uses a secret algorithm that works in the very manner that the Google search engine works to rank its websites. Using this particular algorithm, it is almost a no-brainer for SEOPressor to understand what it actually takes for a website to shoot right up the rung on the Google search pile. This is the one thing that has made SEOPressor so famous.

SeoPressor’s Reputation

SEOPressor has been designed and developed by Daniel Tan, who is one of the greatest search engine optimization gurus in the world today. He has developed successful programs in the past such as the Backlinks Syndication System, the Rank Mover, the Ultimate RSS Joiner and the Press Release Cash Cow. All of these have been quite commended in the online world, which is the same thing that is happening with SEOPressor currently. SeoAdviser recommends SeoPressor: More Information

Simple answer no! Applies to both outgoing links and incoming links.

Outgoing Links

Linking out to bad neighborhoods is BAD – you are effectively recommending a BAD site in Google’s eyes – so watch out, and protect yourself by checking all sites you link to! Google, however, approves of you recommending good resources, and you can expect some browny points!

Incoming Links

Incoming links are more complex. Links coming from bad neighborhoods is less of an issue. Afterall a competitor could use this tactic to try and get you banned – so Google is more tolerant.

Backlinks Checklist

But use this checklist and re-evaluate your link campaigns

1) Are your links diverse? 500 links from 10 sites is probably not as good as 500 links from 500 different sites. Are they all from bookmarking sites? Google knows you can manipulate your rankings by spamming bookmarking sites. So a mixture of natural links, bookmark sites, directory sites, articles to blogs, forum signatures, blog comments, etc. are typical of many sites so you will not be flagging up your site.

2) Anchor text is diverse? Let say your keyword is “blue widget” (why is it always widgets?), then if all incoming links used “blue widget” as anchor text on the partner site – it NOT be natural. So make sure anchor text is variable and uses stemming and other variations. Don’t just link to you home page – link deep into your site. Ideally the anchor text (on the partner site) should be on a page about your theme.

3) Link Juice – don’t just get links from pages with high PR (again this would not be natural); you need a wide spread of links with different PR – even PR 0 and n/a (check the neighborhood though). Mix nofollow and dofollow links – remember nofollow links can still bring you traffic!

4) Trust / Authority – do try to get some sites that have authority (such as newspaper/media sites, leading sites in your niche, top blogs in your niche, etc)

Do examine your incoming links – use Yahoo Site Explorer (tends to give you a better picture than Google); you will probably find that you are lacking in one of these 4 factors.

I have been asked about this a number of times so here are some thoughts …..

There are 2 distinct lines that webmasters seem to take – one by design and the other by chance (or perhaps the rollout 100s of blogs for Adense revenue suggests otherwise!).

Lets quickly look at the second: these sites are knocked up very rapidly often with duplicate content and plugins using rss feeds with poor design. A user arrives at the site and is so appalled at the design and content, they click something to get out of there quick. What have they clicked? Could be a Google adsense link. The design is truly cr*p – with bold use of adsense: such as a leaderboard across the top and the large square adsense boxes in the sidebar and in the text content. Colour schemes are often garish. You probably know what I mean. Bad design or a clever way to get revenue? You decide!

The other approach is more subtle, and often the content on the site is good and well presented. Users are pleased by the rich content, professional design and ease of navigation – they will be encouraged to look around your site. The Google adsense is integrated into the content – using the same colour schemes for fonts (and type, & sizes) and hyperlinks as the rest of the site. The “adverts” are not in your face and site users who hate clicking on adverts will inadvertently click on an advert as they look for more information.

Warning:
Be wary of what you do as Google can disapprove of tactics to encourage Adsense clicks – you do not want your account at risk. These following tactics seem to be common (but that does not mean Google approves):

Clever use of a Link unit to look like a navigation menu.

Although Google can disapprove, use of bold graphics adjacent to Adsense, can draw the eye to Adsense boxes.

What do you think? What tactics do you use?

Want higher “organic” Google search engine rankings? Here are some Google Search Engine Optimizations Tips: your effort needs to be split between “off page” and “on page”. NB: organic search engine optimization refers to the natural rankings that you see on left hand side of the Google Search results – as opposed to the paid or sponsored that you will see in the right hand column (or occasionally at the very top of the left hand column).

“On page” is far easier to achieve: on-page factors (such as meta tags, headings, links, site structure and to lesser extent these days: keyword frequency) can be easily developed by your webmaster.

Whereas off-page SEO factors can be manipulated to “fool” Google into gaining higer rankings (yes, Google do not approve of such practises). Essentially it requires getting inbound links to your site from external websites. Typically this is achieved by:

Natural Links: sites link to you for the content

Press releases

Article distribution

Social networking via sites like Digg and Slashdot

Link campaigns, such as asking complementary businesses to provide links

Directory listings

Link exchanges

Three-way linking

One-way linking

Blogging

Forum posting

Multiway linking

Some webmasters will purchase links from authority websites to manipulate rankings – this is a serious malpractice and if Google discovers (or is informed of) such practises you can be severely penalised and dumped out of the rankings.

Google Search Engine Optimization Tips: Off-page strategies require more work and time, so first concentrate on improving your on-page optimization.

Google Search Engine Optimization Tips: If your content is good, you will attract natural inbound links. So produce compelling content!

Please take heed of these simple Google SEO tips and your organic search engine optimization will improve naturally.
