Link Diversity: How does it effect your Link Strategy?

So you know about the importance of external links into your site! You probably appreciate that links should be coming in from a diverse set of domains.

However, this video illustrates how links from a small number of authority sites is OK – IF they are linking to a variety of pages on your site. A small number of sites linking to just the home page would set alarm bells ringing at big G.  As always the key is “natural” linking.

Very correct, unnatural linking can adversely affect your rankings with G, diversifying through a variety of linking strategies can give you the desired results, also this depends on the competition you are in, since if there is heavy competition, overdoing a bit will not harm, basicall one need to be well aware of the niche that he/she is in
