One Way Links

Any site needs content – hence you will often see & hear “Content, Content, Content” being expounded by all the SEO gurus. Quality, unique content is indeed important – and while we are on the subject: new and updated content should be added to the mantra.

In addition “on-page” and “off-page” factors are very important. “On page” factors include the appropriate meta tags, headings, keyword content/density and theming the content. These factors will be the subject of other articles.

Off-Page Factors

One of the most important factors is getting quality links to your website. Reciprocal linking has been a long running game with webmasters – hoping to fool Google with the number of links. Google can detect reciprocal linking and the weighting for reciprocal links, in the Google algorithm which determines search engine rankings for a keyword phrase, is now LOW!

Naturally, one-way links have become more important. Even Google states in its Webmaster Guidelines “Submit your site to relevant directories such as the Open Directory Project and Yahoo!, as well as to other industry-specific expert sites.” It is essential that a one-way link strategy is deployed correctly.  Choosing the appropriate directories is important – look for quality and relevance to your niche plus the appropriate anchor text and landing page on your site.

SubmitEaze v8.0

SubmitEaze is a now a well established product and has evolved into a very powerful package. SubmitEaze currently lists more than 4,000 website directories and 600 article directories.
